Led by Regional Operations Manager, Gary Ross, the team at RelyOn Nutec Qatar is multi-faceted and dedicated to providing a first rate service in support of their clients operations. Starting out as a specialist safety and survival training centre, the business has expanded over the years to include advanced crane and lifting training for offshore crane operators, and more recently, specialist well control training for drilling and well servicing personnel.
In 2019, RelyOn Nutec Qatar became an IWCF-approved training venue for the delivery of IWCF drilling and well intervention programmes powered by Aberdeen Drilling International (part of the RelyOn Nutec Group). IWCF training from Introductory level to Driller Level and Supervisor Level is delivered by our team of full-time staff instructors , all of whom are dedicated to delivering our global standard and are internationally certified. The IWCF courses are available in-person or remotely through virtual instructor-led training and the portfolio of well control training has expanded to include IADC WellSharp accredited programmes and specialist drilling, stuck pipe prevention, well integrity and well engineering courses. Our instructors are extremely adaptable and experienced and can deliver training in local languages. This has proven especially valuable when it comes to preparing new-hire employees for well control training and ensuring that first-time candidates are fully competent in their drill crew role.
