Aberdeen Drilling School was delighted to host delegates from a European Operator in September, 2018, for our client-specific “Team-Based Simulation” course in Aberdeen. The 2-day course was designed to be as immersive and engaging as possible. Our full-size rig-floor DS-5000 simulator was put through its paces on this course and participants encountered a series of well-specific scenarios including: stripping, losses leading to kicks while drilling, ballooning during drilling, hole cleaning issues, stuck pipe problems, and overall team building exercises.
