We were delighted to be invited by Eni UK Limited to deliver a series of technical seminars for their forthcoming UKCS well, Rowallan 22/19c-G. The seminars focussed on HPHT operational training and narrow mud weight window management and included familiarisation sessions on MPD & continuous circulating equipment.
By their nature High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) wells are extremely complex and challenging and come with a heightened risk of operational problems. The greater the challenge, the greater the need to have well-informed, fully competent crews, who are trained to communicate effectively, and work as a cohesive team with full knowledge of the well objectives and processes.
Aberdeen Drilling School has been delivering classroom training, compliance analysis, pre-drilling advice, and on-the-rig coaching for HPHT Drilling Operations for over 30 years. From the HPHT environments of the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and West Africa, to the newer fields across the Asia Pacific region, we are proud to have delivered over 110 extensive HPHT training programmes to date.
