This HPHT Well Engineering course aims to develop the principles of HPHT well engineering from rig selection through well control and HPHT considerations for casing design, drilling fluids and cement formulations
This course has been designed for well engineers and well planners to provide then with a comprehensive understanding of the well design requirements for HPHT wells.
There are no formal pre-requisites for this type of training; however, candidate suitability and assumed base knowledge will be discussed and agreed with the client in the early stages of course development.
This course can vary in duration and is delivered through presentation of a series of interactive lectures, case studies, group discussion.
Successful completion of the course will result in an Aberdeen Drilling School certificate which is valid for 2 years.
