Our range of IWCF and IADC accredited drilling well control courses have continually been at the forefront of developments within the drilling industry and we work closely with both certification bodies to ensure that our courses are operationally relevant and accessible to all levels of personnel. We offer all levels of role-specific training from Introductory to Supervisory and beyond to IWCF Enhanced.
Our drilling well control courses are designed for individuals currently involved directly or indirectly in well control during drilling operations. A well control certificate in conjunction with relevant work experience is a demonstration of competence in recognising and safely dealing with well control situations (i.e. blowout prevention). Course participants are either employer-funded or self-funded/self-employed contractors in need of well control certification.
These courses are typically classroom and/or simulator-based, but can also be delivered as virtual instructor-led training. The IWCF and IADC Driller and Supervisor Level Well Control courses are scheduled regularly at our training centres and virtual classrooms. You can find scheduled course dates here. Other levels of well control and specialist courses are available on request for group bookings, to be delivered at a location of the client’s choosing.
