Individuals are often promoted to supervisory positions because they have been recognised as high performers in their previous roles, yet too often we do not provide them with the tools they require to be an effective leader. Our 2-day Frontline Leadership Development course will provide new supervisors, team leaders, and managers with the tools they need to lead, influence, and negotiate in the workplace, along with how to deal with the various challenges that can arise when you are responsible for others.
This short course introduces techniques to develop employees, how to handle difficult situations, and explains how to manage change and cultural diversity. These non-technical skills are often ignored but are of paramount importance in today’s business environment.
This course is designed for those involved in drilling operations and working in a supervisory role with people management responsibilities.
This 2-day course combines lecture discussions and theoretical training with a minimum of 50 percent being delivered as a workshop encouraging attendees to engage through activities and group discussions on key topics. Training can be delivered remotely as virtual instructor-led training or in-person at one of our training centres or an alternative location of your choosing.
Successful completion of this course will result in an Aberdeen Drilling School certificate which does not need to be renewed.
There are no formal pre-requisites for this level of training, however, this course has been designed for personnel in supervisory roles with people management responsibilities.
This course is for group bookings only
